With a strong passion for community engagement, I enjoy bringing people together and fostering an inclusive environment. My leadership experiences have shaped me into an adaptable and driven individual, always eager to contribute and inspire those around me.

My Manifesto

As Vice President Community, my goal is to foster a more inclusive, engaged, and empowered student community at HWUM. I aim to enhance student experiences, strengthen bonds between clubs and societies, and advocate for student-led initiatives that make a lasting impact on campus and beyond. I believe in creating a supportive and diverse environment where every student feels heard, valued, and connected.

What motivated me to nominate myself?

I am running for this position because I have always been passionate about community-building and student engagement. Through my experiences in previous leadership roles I have seen firsthand how a strong community can elevate student life. I want to bridge gaps between students, clubs, and the university, ensuring that every student finds their place and has the resources to thrive.

My top three priorities

  • Stronger Club & Society Collaboration

    • Facilitate cross-club events to encourage more engagement and networking among students.

  • Enhancing Student Well-being & Support

    • Work with university management to improve access to welfare and well-being resources.

  • Building a More Engaged and Impactful Community

    • Create a centralised communication platform to support better event planning and collaboration.

What would I bring to the role?

I bring leadership experience, creativity, and a strong passion for student engagement. My past roles in various event management teams have equipped me with the skills to organise impactful initiatives, foster collaboration, and advocate for student needs effectively. I am committed to ensuring that every student at HWUM feels like they belong to a supportive and vibrant community.
