My Biography
I take pride in being knowledgeable in many types of sport; football, basketball, swimming, rugby, golf, you name it. I was the president of football club for a year and a half, as well as this, I am the kraken house captain for 24/25. I love to host events that bring people together, such as the refugee charity match my group, and I hosted in 2024.
My Manifesto
I carry lots of experience in leadership, mixed with my outgoing personality and event management and planning ability which aims to share my passion for sports and create a stronger sense of community at the university. My utter most important factor is to make sure that everyone at university feels heard.
What motivated me to nominate myself?
My passion for sports and to spread the message of how beneficial it could be to include it in our lives and make it a core part of our university.
My top three priorities
Educate on the significance of sports and how it could improve education
Attempt to implement a sports challenge into the semester with potential rewards.
Attempt to revive the sports scene in the university by having more sports competitions (within the university)
What would I bring to the role?
I was the president of football club for a year and a half (Sem 1 23, entire 2024). While being president of football club, I was also the president of a crowdfunding project which motivated my team and I to host a charity match for refugee students. Finally, I am the kraken house captain for AY 24/25.
